Subclass 300
This visa allows you to enter Australia and marry your intended spouse (fiancé(e)) within the visa’s nine (9) month validity period.
The prospective marriage visa (subclass 300) stipulates that your fiancé(e) must be an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen. This visa must be applied for offshore.
(Subclass 820 & 801)
This visa is for those in committed relationships on a married or defacto basis.
The onshore partner visa allows you to remain in Australia on the basis of your married or de-facto relationship with your partner on a temporary or permanent basis. This visa includes dependant children and other eligible dependent relatives.
(Subclass 309 & 100)
This visa is for those in committed relationships on a married or defacto basis who currently reside outside Australia.
The offshore partner visa allows you to enter and remain in Australia on the basis of your married or de-facto relationship with your partner on a temporary or permanent visa.
This visa includes dependent children and other eligible dependent relatives.
(Subclass 103)
This visa allows parents to migrate to Australia permanently to join their children who are living in Australia.
To apply for this visa, it requires that you be sponsored by your child or another eligible sponsor currently residing in Australia. Note: There can be a very long waiting period for this visa.
(Subclass 143)
This visa allows parents to migrate to Australia permanently to join their children who are living in Australia.
This visa requires that you be sponsored by your child, or another eligible sponsor. By paying the contribution to the Australian government you accelerate processing and you can expect a decision much faster.
(Subclass 804)
This visa is suitable for elderly parents who may or may not be dependent on their children. It allows aged parents to remain in Australia permanently.
You can apply for this visa onshore if no restriction exists. Your spouse and family members may also be included.
(Subclass 864)
This visa allows aged parents to migrate to Australia permanently to join their children.
Requires sponsorship. You must be aged by definition (generally over 65) and this application is made onshore.

For children from overseas who are the child or stepchild of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
For children from overseas whose parents are deceased, permanently incapacitated, or whose whereabouts are unknown and who have an eligible sponsor.

Important:
If the child was adopted before the parent became an Australian citizen/PR, they must apply for Subclass 101 instead.

For the dependent children of people granted any permanent humanitarian visa (including Protection and Resolution of Status visas) in the last five years.
(Subclass 115 & 835)
This visa is for people whose only near relatives are usually resident in Australia and are Australian citizens/PR.
Note: There are very long waits for these visas and this should be taken into account.
